BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR/AED for Health Care Providers
The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is the most widely accepted credential in healthcare. It’s required by employers, colleges and licensing boards. Classes offered by organizations other than the AHA, including on-line only classes, are generally not accepted.
- BLS CPR/AED classes are designed for all health care providers, including Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Dental Hygienists, EMTs and students studying a medical related discipline.
- Training includes:
- Adult, Child and Infant 1 & 2 person rescue CPR
- Relief of foreign body airway obstruction (choking)
- Use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Use of a Bag Valve Mask
- AHA Basic Life Support certification card (valid for two years)
